Do you think the crime wave going on in Chatham is part of a white conspiracy to get the black elderly out to the suburbs, so that whites can move into Chatham, re-gentrify, and reclaim the value of having the Dan Ryan and Red Line to the west and Lake Michigan two miles to the east to save on energy expenses and be closer to the Loop than in their far-flung outlying suburbs?
